February 2004: Longbow
Troop 163 and several guests from both Packs 234 and 170 visited the Longbow Organization Campsite for a weekend of service, relaxation and fun! With covered cabins (Adirondacks) near the Santiam river, we were ready for rain, but were pleasantly surprised with wonderful weekend weather.
| | Off we go on a short hike. Some of us were less enthusiastic than others, but we all made it to the meadow!

| Note the top of this tree in the center of the image? At least, what is left of the top... | ...And here is the rest of the tree top.

| From up on the trail we could look back and see bits of the Longbow campsite. |
| |
| | The meadow was quite large, the sky grey--there were no elk to be seen, but there was a wild Levien.

| |
| ...What can you possibly say? |
