| Our troop helped build a nature trail behind Jefferson School.
Two of our scouts did their Eagle project there. Since that time,
nature has taken over. A community member who uses the trail asked
our help in clearing some of the blackberries back. A number of our
scouts helped out in this service project and receive a helping hand segment.

| Our troop runs a booth for the Jefferson School Carnival. This is a
fund raiser put on by our sponsoring organization, and we help out.
We had a number of scouts participate in this project as well, and
they also receive a helping hand segment.

eat their own cooking. In recognition of their time camping, we give
a small award for each 10 nights they were out. These two scouts also
receive a 50 nights out award.
