On January 28th, Fran S came to talk about growing up with scouts, from her father who was a scoutmaster, and her husband who was a professional scout employee.

We had scouts and leaders attend from Troop 2 (Corvallis) and Troop 144 (from Monroe) also attend the talk.

Fran is a friend of Delia.

Fran talked about a number of topics including:

Being a first aid dummy for the scouts in her father's troop. Her father was a doctor.
Being invited to spend a night at Philmont.
Meeting her husband via a series of letters and certain things unmentioned.
Being at a scout camp hosting scouts during all parts of the year.
