March 1998, Stretcher races
While practicing for the First Aid merit badge, and just for general
refresher training, we had some stretcher races at our troop meeting.
Luckly, we broke no arms.
We had the following scouts participating:
Matt C,
Nick H,
Grant K,
David M,
Sean M,
Conrad S,
and
Kyle W
| These are the classic makeshift stretchers of two polls
and a blanket which isn't quite wide enough to work.
|
| |
| Some of the blankets are not quite long enough either.
|
| |
| The final part of the test is to carry an adult.
Some of the patient handling could use improvement.
|
| |
| |
| |
| Even though some patients fell out of their stretchers,
there was quite a bit of laughing during the stretcher race.
