Agenda for 8 November 1999

SPL: Thomas Regan ASPL: Sean Mix

Depending upon if Kyle and Matt are ready, and if we have an appropriate number of adults, we may do a board of review for Star rank for these two scouts.

Thomas: Before the meeting starts (or if you see Rowdy come in), see if these people want to do a short session to touch bases with the people in their merit badge classes. If so, announce this immediately before break.

7:00 Opening flag ceremony

Have the people who went on the recent camping trip talk about what they did.

--- Eureka Tent Did someone from the troop take a Eureka tent home for drying from the River's Edge campout?

Tonight Scout registration Tonight is the night to be paid up for scouting. Turn in any forms and checks to Dave Regan or Kathy Chafin.

13 Nov Food drive pickup. See if Tim Kimble wants to talk about this. Talk about flyer distribution

15 Nov This was going to be the food drive night at 21 Nov the fairgrounds. It turns out that this is not where they need help this year. They will need help for distribution on Sunday the 21st from 1:00 to 3:00 starting at the County Fairgrounds. We will be taking a couple trucks/vans and doing some of the deliveries. We will need scouts and at least one additional vehicle.

29 Nov First Aid Night All of the packs in the area have been notified of the first aid night. One den leader has already made arrangements to be there, and I expect at least one additional den, maybe more. Tonight we will be working of first aid skills. Let's take them seriously. While this event is about learning things and having fun, in the long run it is about being comfortable with your first aid skills.

Break.

7:30 First Aid Review

Ty and Curtis should use this time to ensure that they are checked off for their first aid requirements through first class. Everyone should use this time to ensure that they are comfortable with their first aid skills.
